Dr. Valentina Cuomo, a specialist in Italian, Latin, and Ancient Greek language, literature, and culture, serves as a lecturer in Italian language and culture at the Technical University of Dresden, appointed by the Italian Foreign Ministry. She earned her doctorate in classical philology and, alongside her passion for linguistics and literary studies, has pursued music, studying piano and singing. Her research has resulted in numerous publications across various fields. In collaboration with the Department of Italian Linguistics at TU Dresden, she has contributed to multiple studies and projects exploring the Italian cultural presence in Dresden and Saxony.
