Andreas Aumüller, born in Nuremberg, is a seasoned entrepreneur and esteemed figure in the European debt collection industry. Since 1981, he has co-managed Creditreform Nürnberg Aumüller KG alongside his brother and oversees Creditreform Regensburg Aumüller KG. In 1990, shortly after the German reunification, he moved to Dresden and established Creditreform Dresden Aumüller KG, marking one of the first enterprises to operate in the newly formed federal states. Beyond his business ventures, Aumüller has been an active participant in industry associations. He served as a board member of the national (BDIU) and European (FENCA) collection associations and, in 2013, was elected president of the Federation of European National Collection Associations, leading efforts to represent and advance the interests of the European receivables management sector. In addition to his professional commitments, Aumüller was the Honorary Consul of the Italian Republic in Dresden from 2008 until 2024, fostering cultural and economic ties between Italy and Germany. He is also dedicated to philanthropic endeavors, notably was the treasurer of the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now e.V., Dresden for many years, supporting cultural projects.
