Stefano Della Chiesa is a Research Data Steward at the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER) in Dresden, where he contributes to institutional data stewardship and the IOER Research Data Centre. His work focuses on research data infrastructures, research data management, open data, and data governance. His earlier research spans environmental monitoring, land use change, remote sensing, ecohydrological and spatial modeling. He previously worked at TU Dresden, Eurac Research in Bolzano, and the Alpine Convention. He holds a PhD in Ecology from the University of Innsbruck and a master's degree in Forest and Environmental Science from Tuscia University.
