Dr. Matteo Pardo, born on May 28, 1971, in Genoa, Italy, is a distinguished physicist and researcher. He earned his M.Sc. in Physics summa cum laude in 1996 and his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering in 2000. Dr. Pardo began his career at the Italian National Institute for Matter Physics (INFM) in Brescia in 2002, later transitioning to the National Research Council (CNR) in 2008. From 2008 to 2010, he was a visiting scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin, supported by an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship. In 2011, Dr. Pardo was appointed as the Scientific Attaché at the Italian Embassy in Berlin, where he promoted bilateral research and innovation initiatives between Italy and Germany. He organized joint workshops on topics such as smart cities, start-ups, and European research infrastructures. In 2019, he returned to CNR, serving in the International Relations Office.
