Luciano Lanzotti is an Italian Master’s student in Physics at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from La Sapienza, where he studied from 2021 to 2024 and completed a thesis on statistical mechanics models for the cooperative behavior of hemoglobin under the supervision of Professor Francesco Sciortino. He is currently an exchange Master’s student at TU Dresden in the Chair of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, within the computational materials science and theoretical nanophysics group. His planned Master’s thesis in the group of Professor Gianaurelio Cuniberti focuses on the quantum mechanical investigation of allostery in biomolecules.
