Dario Calvani is a postdoctoral researcher in Dresden working in computational chemistry, materials science, and energy and sustainability research. His work focuses on multiscale computational modeling, combining quantum mechanics, molecular mechanics, and machine learning to design and understand functional materials. His research interests include materials discovery, structure–property relationships, and simulations for catalysis, transport processes, and sustainable technologies. He contributes to the co-supervision of PhD students and teaching activities, and he is also active in scientific outreach as one of the coordinators of Pint of Science events in Dresden.
