AIRJ

AIRJ (Association of Italian Researchers in Japan) brings together Italian scholars and professionals working across Japan, fostering a supportive and collaborative community that spans disciplines and career stages. Founded in 2019, AIRJ was established to facilitate connections and promote scientific collaboration between Italy and Japan, supporting the bilateral mobility of researchers and serving as a point of contact between institutions and research organizations in both countries. Building on this mission, the association encourages the exchange of ideas and experiences within Japan's research and innovation environment, helping its members navigate academic and industrial contexts alike. It promotes Italian expertise through public talks, informal gatherings and collaborative initiatives that showcase ongoing research and stimulate dialogue with Japanese partners. At the same time, AIRJ strengthens cultural and scientific ties between Italy and Japan, advancing international cooperation while providing its members with visibility, guidance and opportunities within the global research landscape.
