Membership Fee Regulation
MEMBERSHIP FEE REGULATIONS
§ 1 Basis
This membership fee regulation governs the fee obligations of the association members. It can only be amended by the General Assembly with a simple majority of the attending voting members. Annual or multi-year adjustments of membership fees to inflation can be decided by the Board with a simple majority. The basis for this regulation is found in § 8 of the association’s statutes as of 08.07.2024.
§ 2 Principle of Solidarity
Membership fees are a fundamental source of financial support for the association. The association relies on all members to pay their fees punctually and in full. Only in this way can the association fulfill its duties towards its members. The membership fee obligation is based on the membership status.
§ 3 Membership Fees
Each regular member is required to pay an annual or lifetime membership fee as per the table below. If a member joins the association during the year, the full annual fee is due. Honorary members are exempt from the membership fee. The Board is entitled to grant extensions, reductions, or exemptions upon request. However, there is no legal entitlement to such payment reliefs.
